Mandeep Sandhu, DVM
Dr. Sandhu has been in small animal practice since 1998. He graduated from Punjab Veterinary College, India. Then he completed one year clinical rotation program in Alabama. Dr. Sandhu completed his Masters in preventive medicine and parasitology in 2000. He is an active member of the America Veterinary Medical Association and Chicago Veterinary Medical Association. Dr Sandhu has a special interest and experience in preventive health care, internal medicine, geriatric health and screening, routine and complicated surgery. He also has special interest in Laser Surgery and orthopedic surgery. In his free time he enjoys spending time with his wife ,son and family.
Cindy Borchardt, DVM
Dr. Cindy Borchardt graduated from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine in May, 2016. Before attending veterinary school, she received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Augustana College in Rock Island, Illinois. Her medical interests include neurology, cardiology, and oncology. Dr. Borchardt believes in working with the client and strives to promote a lasting human-animal bond between the owner and his/her pet.
Outside of the hospital, Dr. Borchardt enjoys spending time with family and friends. If she’s not walking and playing with her husky mix, Athena, Dr. Borchardt can be found taking pictures, playing basketball or volleyball, enjoying a good book, or participating in outdoor activities such as kayaking and hiking.
Dr. Julie Hoag did both her undergrad work and veterinary training at the University of Illinois,
graduating in 1984 (yes, in the days before cell phones and ATM machines – imagine!) She has had
additional formal training in allergic diseases and diseases of the eye, as well as training in teaching and
education. In addition, she has a passion for internal medicine and the nutritional support of healthy
aging. She is licensed in three countries – the USA, Zambia and Nepal, where she continues to go to
conduct annual teaching programs.
When Dr J is not at work or traveling, she can be found at the barn with her Morgan show horses. She
also loves anything DIY and is addicted to Pinterest! She is owned by two Australian shepherds, one of
which was born deaf and vision impaired, and 2 cats that appear to live just to push stuff off
Dr Gill has been in Small Animal Practice for the last 10 years. He attended Iowa State
University for his Ph.D after completing his Bachelors in Veterinary Medicine and Master’s in
Veterinary Pharmacology from India.
Dr Gill is an active member of American Veterinary Medical Association and Chicago Veterinary
Medical Association. His medical interest include soft tissue surgeries and Dentistry.
Outside of the hospital, Dr Gill enjoys spending time his family which includes his wife, 2
beautiful daughters and a son. Verona, his hyper and lovable pit bull, Abel and Olive, his 2 cats
also share equal amounts of his family time.
Dr Gill enjoys photography and woodworking as his hobby whenever he can spare some free
